“But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.” – Hebrews 2:9

Jesus is the one crowned with glory and honor.  We gather to worship God in the name of Christ.  Through faith we are united to him and share in his glory. All praise to his glorious grace!

We plan to sing these songs together.  “Praise the King” is new and “I Run to Christ” may be unfamiliar to some.  Get ready to sing with your church family!

We look forward to an expository sermon from Galatians 5:22-23. This will be part 1 of the Fruit of the Spirit.

  • Do you notice anything interesting in what Paul contrasts with the “works” of the flesh?
  • Try to biblically define love, joy, and peace.

Looking Ahead:

On Sunday, March 19 the membership will have the joy of affirming John and Royce as deacons.  Continue to uphold these men in prayer and thank God for their willing and costly service to Christ’s church.

Please ask God to demonstrate his power by his Spirit as we gather to worship. Ask God to do this so that our faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God (1 Cor. 2:4-5).
