“We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.” – Romans 15:1–2

Each Lord’s Day gathering is an opportunity to obey this good biblical command.  I hope you will ask God to use you for the good of building up others. Depend on God’s Spirit to use you to build up your Christian family this Sunday.

To prepare for the preaching ministry, spend a few minutes reading John 1. Our brother John Petrilli will be preaching from the Gospel of John. Pray for him.

  • Can you find any repeated words or themes in John 1?
  • What did the Apostle John say he saw in Jesus? Have you seen this?

Do not neglect the most important preparation for worship: PRAY!  Set a reminder to pray so you don’t neglect this essential aspect of our corporate worship.  Whatever blessings we hope to experience and receive on Sunday must come from God. Ask him!
