Preparation for Worship: Sunday, May 28, 2017

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Because God has made us into new creations we gather together to worship our Heavenly Father in spirit and in truth. Corporate worship reminds us of our new life and helps us put to death the old. Worship!

These links are provided to help us sing well as a church family. Get ready to sing!

The expository sermon will be preached from Galatians 6:14-16.  Thoughtfully read the passage to prepare yourself to be an expositional listener.

  • What relationship exists between a Christian’s boasting and cross of Christ?
  • According to Paul (vs. 15), what matters the most in regards to our status as children of God?
  • What does this passage show you about God, his character, and his mighty acts?
  • How can you pray as a result of the precious truth in this passage?

Pray for your church family.  Pray that we would “rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:17). Ask your good Heavenly Father to use his church and his Word, by and with his Spirit to grow us up in gospel saturated love for him and our fellow-person.
