Preparation for Worship: Sunday, January 21, 2018

Isaiah 42:6–8 ESV, ““I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness. I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.”

The Lord is glorious in his mighty actions of salvation.  He delivered us from blindness and brought us out of the dungeon of our sin when he shined the light of the glorious gospel in our hearts.  Come and worship our glorious God!

  • How do these values help us strive together to fulfill our mission of spreading a passion for the glory of God by making disciples?
  • Which of these three values excites you the most? Why?
  • Which of these three values do you feel most needs growth in your life?
  • Who will you ask to help you grow in this biblical value?

Pray:

Based on God’s Word below, for what will you ask him in regards to our gathered worship on Sunday? Pray!

Romans 8:32 ESV, “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
