“The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.” – Acts 17:24–25

Church worship is primarily about receiving from God.  He needs nothing from us. He is the great Giver.  Whatever we lack we find filled up by his exuberant generosity. We receive delight from our Heavenly Father and he gets the glory. Worship!

Singing:

These links are provided to help us sing well as a church family. Get ready to sing!

Preaching:

The expository sermon will be drawn from Galatians 6:11-13. Thoughtfully read the passage to prepare yourself to be an expositional listener.

  • What do false teachers “want”?
  • Why do false teachers have those desires? In other words, what is their motive(s)?
  • What does this passage teach you about God?

Pray:

Pray for your church family.  Pray that Christ will dwell in our hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:17).  In other words, pray that what we believe about Christ would stir our affections so that we freshly experience delight and wonderment in the love of Christ.
