Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017

“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” – Matthew 28:5–6, ESV

Easter Sunday reminds us why we gather every Lord’s Day.  We gather to celebrate, proclaim, and worship our risen Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord!

Singing:

Sing with us! Let’s unite our voices in praise to God in the name of Jesus by the power of God’s Spirit. Use the links below to get ready.

Preaching:

The expository sermon will be preached from John 16:16-22.

  • What promise does Jesus give to his disciples?
  • How does the resurrection apply that promise to your life?

Pray:

Don’t gather with the church assuming God’s blessing.  Ask God for a greater understanding of him and a greater sight of Christ’s glory.  The more we see Christ the more we shall be like our risen Lord.
