“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” – Psalms 46:10
Gathering on the Lord’s Day with your church family is a opportunity to be still and know God. It’s a chance to combine our efforts to exalt God. We need more of this God-centered stillness.
We plan to sing these songs together. Take some time to read through the lyrics so you are better ready to join head and heart in God-centered worship.
New Hymn: Start familiarizing yourself with the new hymn, “Not In Me.” We plan to begin learning this hymn together in April.
In the sermon we will conclude our study of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. The final four virtues of goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control will occupy our attention.
- Which aspect of the fruit of the Spirit shines the brightest to you?
- How might each of these virtues promote a healthy church?
- Where are you seeing the fruit of the Spirit in the lives of your church family? Praise God for this fruit!
Don’t forget to pray! Prayer is not a preserve we spread over our gatherings to sweeten our time. Prayer holds the very substance of our gathered worship. Pray!
