“The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Timothy 1:15, 17
Only Jesus has power to save repentant sinners. He is the immortal King of the ages worthy of all our praise. This Sunday we have a chance to unite in giving praise, honor, and glory to God. Join us!
We plan to sing these songs together. We will continue to learn and familiarize ourselves with “Praise the King.” Get ready to sing with your church family!
- Immortal Invisible
- Christ is Risen He Is Risen Indeed
- Before The Throne of God Above
- Praise the King
Our time of expository preaching will be a continuation from last week about the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. We will grow together in the grace of Christ found in the next four virtues: joy, peace, patience, and kindness.
- In your own words try to define each of these virtues.
- How have you seen God express these virtues to you this week?
- Ask God to use his Word in to destroy sin and increase his glory in us.
We will have the joy of receiving into membership Matt and Ed who were recently baptized. It will also be the joy of the church family to affirm Royce and John as deacons this Sunday. Pray for these men and their families. Pray for your church family to joyfully receive their acts of costly service as gifts from God. Praise God for his provision!
